Soukma
Soukma has an amazing international audiences for years as ‘the petite lady with the big sassy voice. Her high‐impact, poised performances range from powerful to subtle, elegant to sublime. Her unique voice brings back memories of the roaring 20s, when men knew how to treat a lady and women knew how to misbehave. She is inspired by the likes of Billy Holliday, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone and Carmen McRae. Wrapped in the music of Duke Ellington, George Gershwin and others are some of her most favourites. The singer from central Java overwhelms on stage, despite her diminutive stature.
